In the heart of Hanover, Minnesota, a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication was born in 1981 with the establishment of Maverick Construction by Bryan Reitzner. What began as a small construction company in the North Metro soon expanded into a cornerstone of the local construction industry, leaving an indelible mark on the community for over four decades.

Bryan Reitzner, a visionary with a passion for construction, laid the foundation of Maverick Construction with a commitment to quality and integrity. From the beginning, Bryan's goal was not to just remodel homes  but to construct dreams, transforming visions into tangible realities for his clients. With a dedication to excellence and a keen eye for detail, Maverick Construction swiftly gained recognition for its superior craftsmanship and personalized service throughout the Twin Cities/Metro area.

Over the years, Maverick Construction flourished under Bryan's leadership, earning a stellar reputation as the go-to insurance restoration construction company in Hanover and beyond. From residential homes to commercial complexes, Maverick Construction became synonymous with reliability and professionalism, earning the trust of clients and industry peers alike. Through economic fluctuations and shifting trends, the company continued to grow and diversify.

In 2024, after more than four decades at the helm of Maverick Construction, Bryan Reitzner made the decision to pass the torch to a new generation. Cole Nelson, a dynamic entrepreneur with a shared passion for construction and a vision to propel Maverick Construction into a new era of success.

​

Prior to leading Maverick, Cole served as Construction Services Assistant at Rochester Public Schools. Cole's role in Rochester included overseeing construction projects from renovations to new school buildings across the district. Following the tenure in Rochester Cole transitioned to Northfield Public Schools as the Director of Buildings & Grounds. In this role, Cole was responsible for the overall operations of the Facilities Department including Grounds, Maintenance, Custodial, Construction and Health & Safety. Cole's experience in the public school sector proved his versatility, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in every endeavor he undertakes.

Cole and his wife Kristi live in Zumbro Falls, MN. They have been blessed with 2 wonderful children Marlee(3) and Calvin(2). They are expecting their third child in May. Beyond his professional endeavors, Cole finds his greatest fulfillment in the love and support of his amazing wife and children, shaping our journey with joy, purpose, and boundless dreams.

With the acquisition of Maverick Construction, Cole Nelson pledged to uphold the values and legacy established by Bryan Reitzner while pushing fresh perspectives and innovative strategies to drive the company forward. Maverick Construction has since embarked on a renewed journey of growth and expansion, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices to meet the evolving needs of clients in an ever-changing world. Maverick has partnered with GAF and GoNano to continue to provide the highest quality solutions and options to it's customers into the future.
